Panasonic today announced the availability of the Toughbook H2 Windows 7 tablet. Weighing at only 3.5 pounds, this fully-rugged tablet is powered by an Intel Core i5-2557M vPro processor (1.7GHz with Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz) for faster speeds and enhanced device management. The device also comes standard with a 10-inch XGA display, a 4GB RAM (up to 8GB), a removable 320GB 7200rpm shock-mounted hard disk drive, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 and an optional 128GB solid state drive. Its battery provides 6.5 hours of operation time. The Panasonic Toughbook H2 will be available in the US market later this month for $3,449
